CCSD E-Learning August 30, 2021 - September 10, 2021
Posted on 08/28/2021

Due to the continued spread of the contagious COVID-19 delta variant in our community and schools, as well as a continuous increase in the amount of our district’s quarantined staff and students, and COVID-19’s impact on our available pool of school bus drivers and substitutes, Colleton County School District will transition temporarily to E-Learning/Virtual Learning for all students during the week of August 30 to September 10. The estimated date for returning to learn in-person is September 13, 2021.

CCSD will be providing distance learning opportunities and breakfast/lunch opportunities during this closure. Students will be able to use district-issued Chromebooks for E-Learning/Virtual Learning. If a student does not have a district-issued laptop and needs one for E-Learning/Virtual Learning, please contact their school. Students without access to internet will be provided with E-Learning packets. Students will be expected to complete all assignments at home. All athletic activities and afterschool programs will be canceled during the E-Learning/Virtual Learning period.

All district employees will report to their work locations during this remote learning period.

CCSD district officials will reassess the impact of COVID-19 on students and staff on September 10, and determine if an extension of the remote learning period will be necessary.
