Greetings Parents and Families of the Colleton County School District.
As we embark upon the Holiday Break, we will continue to emphasize academic learning as our main focus. Although there will be various events and activities this week, please encourage your child to continue to do their very best academically, behaviorally and socially. We know this is a season of excitement and sometimes students may involve themselves in behavioral actions they would normally not do. Please join us in encouraging your child to institute safe practices at all times during the school day and at after school activities. We want to close this semester with high academic achievement and no behavioral issues so we can begin the new semester on January 7, 2025 focused on learning.
Friday, December 20, 2024 will be a half day of school. Please check our website for dismissal times at each location.
Thank You for your continued support as we work together to prepare every student for success!

DOLLS has partnered with CCHS JAG and the Walterboro Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta for our Christmas Drive initiative! 🎄🎁 A huge thank you to Ms. Davis and everyone who donated — your generosity is making this holiday season special for many young children! ❤️ Your support is truly appreciated, and we’re so grateful to be part of such an amazing community. Wishing you all a joyful and blessed holiday season! ✨🌟

Mrs. Barnette's 6th grade art classes took a trip to the Colleton Center today to experience the holiday magic of a live theatre production of A Christmas Carol presented by the Columbia Children's Theatre! The play recounts the story of Ebenezer Scrooge, an elderly miser who is visited by the ghost of his former business partner Jacob Marley and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come. In the process, Scrooge is transformed into a kinder, gentler man. Our students enjoyed seeing other students their age in the play and had a great time!

Dear CCMS Families,

We will share more details about the new date and ticket availability in the coming weeks. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to making the So Icey Bash a fun and memorable event in the new year!
Thank you for your continued support of our school and students.

Each participant had the opportunity to share a positive event and an improvement wish(concern) that they experienced in the district since the last parent forum in September. The parent forum collaborated to create a plan to promote the positive things happening in the Colleton County School District. They plan to spread the word about the great things happening at our schools & in the district and use #CCSDOntheMove to draw attention to the district on Social Media platforms. They ended the meeting with an action plan in place and a challenge to bring a friend to join the next parent forum.
